MUNN MOVES ON |
|
Bangor defender Stephen Munn has decided to return to England
and has issued a personal statement to the club website this
evening.
"Due to personal reasons, I regret to inform everyone that I
am leaving the club to return to England. It has been a hard and
sad decision to make, but I feel it is one that I have to take
now. I have enjoyed my time at the club and have greatly
appreciated being part of Bangor Football Club - it is a
fantastic club with great officials and great fans.
I have always had a great rapport with the players,
management and staff and have received magnificent support from
the Bangor fans. Bill Peden deserves a special mention as he is
working so hard for the club and was the man to bring me back to
Clandeboye in the summer.
To all the players - good luck for the rest of the season. I
know that with Windy, Andy and Keyhole, Bangor can get back in
the Premier League where they belong.
My last game will be as a supporter on Saturday against Ards
and it would be a fantastic send off if the lads were to get
three points. I will never forget Bangor Football Club and would
never rule out a return if things in England don't work out. I
will always have Bangor FC in my blood.
A huge thanks to everyone."
